FGS Pilcher at the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match 2026
FGS Pilcher was delighted to return to the Weald of Kent Ploughing Match on Saturday 12 September 2026, joining colleagues from across the wider group for a great day celebrating agriculture and the rural community.
Held at Hengherst Farm in Woodchurch, the event provided a fantastic opportunity to catch up with customers, farmers, landowners and others from across the local agricultural industry.
New Cat D6 XE takes centre stage
A particular highlight on the FGS Pilcher stand was our new Cat® D6 XE dozer, giving visitors the opportunity to get a closer look at the latest addition to our specialist earthworks fleet.
The D6 XE has been added to strengthen our capabilities across a wide range of earthworks projects, including on-farm reservoir and lake construction, wetland creation, landforming, site preparation and environmental engineering.

Talking agriculture, earthworks and water resilience
The Ploughing Match also gave our team the chance to speak with visitors about the range of services FGS Pilcher provides to the agricultural and rural sectors, from land drainage, groundworks and construction to reservoirs, lakes, earthworks and environmental projects.
With water resilience becoming an increasingly important consideration for farms and rural businesses, it was particularly valuable to discuss how improved on-farm water storage and infrastructure can help businesses prepare for changing weather conditions and future water requirements.
We were joined at the event by colleagues from FGS Agri, FGS Organics and Habitat Regeneration and DJB Machinery, showcasing some of the wider expertise available across the group in agriculture, land management, soil health and habitat creation.
Thank you for visiting us
A big thank you to everyone who stopped by the stand. It was great to see so many familiar faces, make new connections and talk about projects taking place across Kent and the wider South East.
We look forward to returning again.
