We are looking for an Agricultural Groundworker to join our team to work on our civils, drainage and land management projects within rural/agricultural sites across Kent and Sussex. The ideal candidate will be punctual, reliable and conscientious with a can-do attitude and flexibility when needed. You will be required to work on your own initiative and within a team, be able to safely operate mobile plant and be expected to undertake daily checks and basic maintenance. Duties will include groundworks, concreting and drainage works. You will need to be willing to undertake manual work including laying drainage. A valid CPCS/NPORS would be an advantage but is not essential. The successful candidate will be expected to follow our Health and Safety procedures and have a good attitude to environmental issues. This is a permanent position and Mon-Fri: Basic 40hrs / week with additional hours to meet business requirements with a competitive rate of pay. A company van will be provided to the successful applicant. Immediate start. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Schedule:

Due to expansion we have 2 current positions available for Concrete Finishers/Groundworkers. The right applicants must have a proactive attitude and good customer relations as we work closely with clients' requirements. FGS Pilcher are quite bespoke in the works we carry out. Our works are mainly in the agricultural industry. Responsibilities: -Formation of shuttering - Preparing sub-bases and laying concrete - Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, levelling, and finishing surfaces - Operate hand and power tools to shape and finish concrete - Install and repair concrete structures, including sidewalks, driveways, and foundations - Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and to specifications - Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean work area Qualifications: - Previous experience in concrete finishing or related field is preferred - Knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and finishing techniques - Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications - Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision - Physical stamina to perform tasks that require bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time The successful applicants will benefit from a company vehicle and tools provided.
