S E Lane – Agricultural Civil Work
FGS Pilcher have undertaken several recent projects for SE Lane and Partners. This included modernising the farm facilities of the dairy herd. The modernisation has increased production and improved the welfare of the animals, giving them refreshed living quarters. The work we undertook included:
- Converting an existing farm building into a milking parlour and a cubicle building with a special flushing water system as well as robot milking machines.
- Extension of the farm’s clay lined lagoon increasing its storage capacity.
- Extension of the silage clamp storage area to enable more silage to be clamped and stored for winter feeding to the livestock.
